How this all came about:
My name is Becky Lyn Rickman. Well, actually it's Rebecca Lyn Rickman. OK, truth be told, it's Rebecca Lyn Rickman Norris Wilson Rickman, but we won't drag those who must not be named into this forum! I prefer to go by Becky Lyn because that's what my Aunt Jan used to call me.
"Now, tell me, Becky Lyn, what's going on in your life."
Today, I would say, "Well, Aunt Jan, I miss you and I'm starting a women's online magazine to help women feel the way you always made me feel—like I have a voice and what I do and say is important."
I have always written down things in journals that interested me. Then I wrote a few books. Then I began to be a contributor to a site called FamilyShare.com. While working for them, I accrued over two million views on my articles. I wanted to take what I've learned and turn it over to you, the women of the world who have brilliant stories to share. I want you to feel important, like you have a voice, and know that other women want to hear what you have to say.
This is the place to do that.
Tell us what you have learned from your: experience, embarrassment, mistakes, triumphs, marriages, motherhood, yoga, walks in the park, lazy days in bed, and pain. That way, other Bloomers will learn and share their stories.
Now read in 66 countries, we are Blooming Women. No matter how old or how young, we are always blooming.
