This is the place where dreams are confessed and cheered on!
I always wanted to be a mom. Not a ballerina. Not an astronaut. Not a doctor. A mom. And a writer. Here I am on the left doing what I saw my mom doing. On the right is my granddaughter, Madeline, on one of our sleepovers where we make each other up.
What are your dreams? It doesn't matter how young or how old. It took me nearly 50 years to begin my dream of writing. Now I'm so successful that when I walk down the street, people bump into me, point their finger, and shout, "You! Where did you come from? Get out of my way!"
